FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Grand Canyon began its day finishing holes from a suspended second round, only for Tuesday's area rain to prompt cancellation of the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic's final round at Ptarmigan Golf and Country Club.

- GCU finished 12th at 25 over par, carding a first-round score of 3 over and a second-round score of 22 over.
- Lopes freshman Rosie Maguire finished 39th at 5 over. Maguire had five birdies over two rounds and shot even par in the first round.
- GCU recorded the second-most pars with 105 for the tournament.

Grand Canyon began its second tournament of the season Monday at the Ptarmigan Golf and Country Club, finishing the first round and half of round two before play was suspended at the Colonel Wollenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic.
News and notes
- GCU is tied for eighth out of 13 teams and is 10 over par halfway through the second of three rounds. The Lopes shot 3 over in the first round to be in ninth and are 7 over with six holes to play in the second round.
- Tremouille leads the squad at 1 over and is 26th overall. Tremouille has seven birdies and holds an even-par scorecard in round two. She tied for the best score on par-4 holes (3 under).
- Maguire is one stroke back of Tremouille at 2 over (30th place). Maguire had 16 pars and an even card in the first round and is 2 over in the second.
GCU had 11 birdies over its first 18 holes, led by Tremouille with four. Vakasiuola, Haines and Tremouille all shot 1 over while Justiz had a 2-over total. Johnson shot 8 over in her first collegiate tournament.
The Lopes caught some momentum on the back nine of the second round, with three players notching birdies on the par-4 13th and par-5 16th holes. Four of the five scoring Lopes have three birdies for their second round with four or five holes left apiece.
The conclusion of the second round and the final third round will be played Tuesday with tee times beginning at 8 a.m.
