Cody Jefferson joined the GCU Sports Medicine Staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in October 2022 and works with the GCU Women’s Basketball and Women’s Golf teams.
Prior to GCU he worked as the Associate Head Athletic Trainer at the University of Evansville with their men’s basketball program, and as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Tennessee at Martin with men’s basketball and volleyball.
Jefferson graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Eastern Illinois University and received a Master’s of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Jefferson holds certifications in Functional Integrated Needling (dry needling) and as a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
