SWEEPSTAKES RULES AND REGULATIONS

OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. You’ll be entered to win a seat on the GCU Air Charter to the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament 1st Round game and a ticket to the game. See Section 4 below for additional detail on prizes and accommodations.

HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, you must:

Attend the Grand Canyon University vs. Arizona State University “Hometown Showdown” at the Footprint Center on Thursday, November 14, 2024
Visit the Global Credit Union branch (“Global Branch”) at the Lope Shop beginning on Friday, November 15, 2024 through Thursday, November 21, 2024 during Global Branch operating hours;
Wear the purple GCU/Global Credit Union shirt you received at the game;
Present your ticket stub from the GCU vs. ASU game;
Sign up for a new Lopes Debit Card from Global Credit Union;
Fill out the “Hometown Showdown” with Global Credit Union entry form and upload a photograph of you in your purple GCU/Global Credit Union shirt holding your Lopes Debit Card at: www.gculopes.com/hometownshowdown. Only one entry per person is allowed.

SELECTION OF WINNERS: Fifty (50) students will be selected as winners. The winners will be randomly selectedby Grand Canyon University (“Sponsor”) personnel from among all eligible entries for the prize. The drawing will be conducted on November 22, 2024.

ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to Grand Canyon University students who are legal residents of Arizona, and whoare 18 years of age or older on the date of entry. Employees of Grand Canyon University, Grand Canyon Education, and Global Credit Union are not eligible to win. By entering the Sweepstakes, you are bound by and agree to these Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

PRIZES AND ODDS. Fifty (50) Sweepstakes Winners will receive (a) round trip airfare for one (1) from Phoenix, Arizona to the yet to be determined 2025 First Round NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament host city location valued at $360.00 per person; and (b) one (1) game ticket to GCU’s 2025 First Round NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament game valued at $80.00. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The Prize may not be redeemed for cash.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE: Winner will be notified by 5 p.m. on November 22, 2024 by electronic messaging via email message. Failure of the winner to respond to the electronic message by November 25, 2024 may result in disqualification of winner, forfeiture of his or her interest in all prizes, and selection of a substitute winner from among all remaining eligible entries. To claim the prize, the winner must respond to the email message with a message accepting the prize. Winner must verify that Winner is eligible to travel on an airplane traveling from Arizona to the yet to be determined First Round NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament host city location. Valid photo identification will be required. The Prize is non-assignable and nontransferable. No substitutions are allowed. The Prize is subject to voidability in the event the Grand Canyon University Men’s Basketball Team fails to qualify for the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes. Except where prohibited, acceptance of any prize constitutes winner’s consent to the publication of his or her name, biographical information

and likeness in any media for any commercial or promotional purpose,without limitation, or further consideration.

SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES DISCLAIMER: As a condition of participating in the Sweepstakes, you agree and acknowledge that any socialnetworking sites used to promotethe Sweepstakes as well as their owners, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, parents, subsidiaries, attorneys, insurers, and associated entities (collectively, the “Social Media Group”) are not sponsors of the Sweepstakes nor do they endorse or administer the Sweepstakes, nor are they in any way associated with the Sweepstakes. All questions regarding the Sweepstakes must be directed to the Sponsor,not the Social Media Group.You also agree that as acondition of participating in the Sweepstakes, you shall release the Social Media Group from any and all liability arising out of or relating to your entry, creation of any entry or submission of an entry, participation in the Sweepstakes, acceptance, use or misuse of any prize or the broadcast, exploitation, or use of an entry.

PARTICIPATION: By participating, entrantsagree to be bound by these OfficialRules and the decisions of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Sweepstakes as solely determined by

Sponsor. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, nonauthorized human intervention, tampering or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reservesthe right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, Sponsor reserves the right to award prizes based on the entries received before the termination date.

CONSTRUCTION: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalidor unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

SPONSORS/ADMINISTRATORS: The “Hometown Showdown” with Global Credit Union Sweepstakes is sponsored by Grand Canyon University. Grand Canyon University is located at 3300 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85017 and can be reached via phone at 602-639-8591 or via email at ty.martin@gcu.edu. The decisions of the Sponsor regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes. The identity of the Winners will be selected at random from all entries, using random numbers.
DISPUTES: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. As of a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Arizona having jurisdiction. In any such dispute under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of pocket expenses. Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES: By participating in the Sweepstakes you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to enter into this agreement, abide by these Official Rules and are not impersonating anyone else.

RELEASE: As stated in Section 7 above, by participating, you irrevocably release and forever discharge the Sponsor, Grand Canyon University, and their directors, officers, affiliated entities, employees (“Released Parties”) from any and all actions, claims, damages, liabilities and demands, whether absolute or contingent and of any nature whatsoever,which you now have or hereafter may have againstthe Released Parties,or their respective successors or assigns, arising out of or related in any way to the Prize or the use of your name, image, and likeness. Except where prohibited by law, by participating in the Sweepstakes, Winner consents to the use of his or her name, likeness and/or voicefor any advertising or promotional purposes without furtherconsent or compensation. Participants’ information submitted on the Sweepstakes entry form will be used solely by Sponsor and its affiliates and will not be sold or otherwise distributed to third parties.

TAXES: Sponsor is required by law to issue an IRS federal income tax form 1099-MISC to the Winner for the retail value of the Prize. The Approximate Retail Value of the Prize is $440.00 per person.
