Michael Haynes joined GCU as the Athletics Compliance Coordinator in the Spring of 2022. He helps oversee many day-to-day operations within the Office of Athletics Compliance. His primary responsibilities include Teamwork’s Compliance and Recruiting operations for student-athletes and coaches, financial aid, transfer portal, and more.

Michael obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management in 2020, along with completing a dual Master’s degree program, earning a Master of Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Leadership from GCU in 2022. Prior to working at GCU, Haynes was a student-athlete and member of the men’s soccer team for four years as a goalkeeper.Â
Haynes currently resides in Peoria and in his spare time enjoys coaching soccer at his former soccer club Christ Church of the Valley, and working within the kids ministry at North Phoenix Baptist Church.
