The 2013 Rawlings/ABCA NCAA Division II Gold Glove Team was released at the Baseball Championships in Cary, N.C., and Grand Canyon University was the lone school in the country with multiple representatives chosen.

Michael Pomeroy and freshman left-hander
Andrew Naderer were honored as the best defensively at their respective positions among all Division II athletes.
Pomeroy has yet to commit an error in 53 games at first base, collecting 497 putouts and 41 assists in 538 total chances to spearhead a GCU squad that owns the second-best fielding percentage (.975) in the country. In total, Pomeroy has started 51 games at first base this season.
Naderer has collected eight putouts and 28 assists in 36 chances without committing an error. He had a career-best six assists in his complete game effort versus St. Edward’s on Sunday. Naderer is the lone freshman to be selected as a Gold Glove winner.
