GCU falls to UCLA in three

Grand Canyon sophomore Brennan Zotovich had three kills, one dig and a block assist in two games against UCLA Wednesday.
LOS ANGELES -- Grand Canyon (14-20) lost 3-0 to No. 7 UCLA (13-9) at John Wooden Center Wednesday. The Antelopes fell by set scores of 30-17, 30-14, 30-20.
It's the first of two matches against nationally ranked teams while visiting Los Angeles. GCU takes on USC, also ranked No. 7, Thursday at 6 p.m.
Sophomore outside hitter Brock Hutchins had eight kills and six digs. Freshman setter Brad Moore had 22 assists, four digs, one service ace, one solo block and one block assists. Frosh libero Trent Bruns had eight digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Taylor Griffin had six kills and freshman outside hitter Tyler Capko added five digs.
