Savannah Kirk, GCU's sophomore second baseman and leadoff hitter, ranked No. 2 nationally in 2025 with a .505 average and was the 2025 WAC Player of the Year. A dynamic slapper and elite base stealer, she went 50 for 50 in steals and helped lead GCU to a top-25 ranking and a fourth straight NCAA Tournament trip.
Makaih Williams averaged 8.2 points and 2.3 rebounds for the WAC Tournament Champion Lopes, who returned to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season. Williams returns for his second GCU season in 2025-26 with a new-look roster of talent surrounding him for sixth-year head coach Bryce Drew.
Matthew Diehl turned in an impressive freshman season in 2024-25, earning WAC Freshman of the Year and All-WAC First Team honors. Diehl finished with a 72.2 per round scoring average, had four top-10 finishes and finished seventh at NCAA Regionals, the best in program history.
