What They're Saying
"It is consistently one of the toughest places to play. It is loud and almost always at capacity. We love playing in Antelope."
Matt Werle, GCU head coach
"Antelope Gym is an energizing place to play and it is obvious that the athletic experience matters at GCU. I was particularly impressed with the enthusiasm of their student section."
David Kniffin, UC Irvine head coach

Antelope Gymnasium opened in 1994 and serves as a secondary indoor venue for GCU Athletics. It hosts all of GCU men's and women's volleyball practices and occasional games when GCU Arena is unavailable. It also hosts dozens of amateur tournaments and other year-round events. It is the former permanent home of GCU men's and women's basketball and men's and women's volleyball until all teams moved to GCU Arena.
The on-campus facility is a school color-coordinated purple and black 1,500-seat capacity venue, and it is a part of a larger facility that encompasses the old Antelope Gymnasium. Antelope Gymnasium is known for it's intimate atmosphere where fans can almost stand and touch the players, creating a loud and difficult place to play for opponents.
